2021 Grüner Veltliner trocken "Veltenbummler", Rheinhessen, Germany

Somewhat vegetal to ethereal-herbal, nutty and slightly smoky-bacon aroma of yellow fruits with a hint of dried mushrooms and fennel. Still youthful, not quite dry fruit with a hint of wax and dark berries, present acidity, some drying tannin, some persistence, hints of tobacco and nutmeg, salty and earthy tones, good, very slightly warm finish.
