Tart, somewhat herbal, slightly peppery and hints of animal aromas of predominantly dark berries with a little cherry and nuances reminiscent of mint and dried mushrooms. Straightforward, dark fruit with a noticeable acid bite, fine sandy tannin, toasty wood notes in the background, a hint of citrus zest and leather, some persistence, good to very good, only slightly sooty-bitter finish with youthful juice.
