2022 Monzingen Riesling VDP.Ortswein trocken "Halgans", Nahe, Germany

Quite deep and tart, still undeveloped, somewhat reductive aroma with citrus and stone fruit aromas, a little smoke, yeast and hints of dark spice in the background. Firmly woven, juicy, again barely developed fruit, lively, fine acidity and noticeable grip, yeasty hints, some smoke and again a little dark spice, persistent and dense on the palate, good depth, clear, tart minerality, firm finish with noble juice, some wild garlic and again grip. Needs to mature.
