2019 Monzingen Riesling VDP.Ortswein trocken "Halgans", Nahe, Germany

Clear, somewhat herbaceous stone fruit scent with delicately nutty, yeasty aromas, rather dark minerality and a hint of pome oil. Firmly woven, ripe, very slightly warm, sweetly melting fruit with lively acidity and lots of grip, tones reminiscent of plums on the palate, again also core oil and darker minerality, good depth, relatively calm style, a touch of pepper, compact structure, still undeveloped, very good, again dark-looking finish with melting and ripe juice. As Halenberg as it gets
