2018 Monzingen Halenberg Riesling VDP.Grosse Lage "R", Nahe, Germany

Very slightly developed, firm and quite deep, herbaceous-vegetable aroma with rather bright, first citrusy yellow-fruity aromas, especially with air also peach, candy notes, some smoke, as well as clear minerality. Ripe, firm, juicy, relatively sweet fruit, slightly smoky and candied-nutty tones, fine acidity and grip of crumbly tannin, lasting, very slightly dark berry in the background, certain warmth, present, also partly dark minerality, good depth, still rather young, has power, very good, firm, sweetish-juicy finish with mineral spice, nuts and a touch of candy.
