Slightly smoky nose of black and blue berries with soup herbs, paprika, a hint of bacon and pepper. Firm, tart, rather dark fruit, smoky wood spice, soup herbs again, a little bacon and pepper, quite present, slightly drying tannins, good persistence, salty notes in the background, delicate bitterness, a hint of soot, hints of juniper, good to very good, relatively firm, tart, again slightly drying finish.
