The winery is located in the municipality of Hessigheim (Württembergisch Unterland area) in the German wine-growing region of Württemberg. It was founded in 1987 by Uwe and Gisela Eisele and at that time 20 acres of vineyards were cultivated as a sideline. Since 2014, it has been run by Alexander Eisele and his wife Eva. A vinotheque is attached. Today, the vineyards cover around ten hectares of vines in the single vineyard sites Felsengarten and Wurmberg (Hessigheim) as well as Rozenberg (Mundelsheim). They are planted with the white wine varieties Pinot Blanc, Pinot Gris, Riesling, Chardonnay, Sauvignon Bl anc, Kerner and Müller-Thurgau, as well as with the red wine varieties Pinot Noir, Lemberger (Blaufränkisch), Zweigelt, Schwarzriesling (Pinot Meunier), Cabernet Franc, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Muscat-Trollinger (Muscat d'Hamburg), Acolon and Trollinger (Schiava Grossa).
Since the 2016 vintage, the vineyards have been cultivated organically as an ecosystem in a cycle in accordance with the certified guidelines of the organic association Bioland. This includes not using synthetic chemical fertilisers and pesticides and keeping plant protection to a minimum. This protects the soil and provides a healthy habitat for a variety of insects. The product portfolio is divided into three lines:
All wines are marketed entirely as Landwein Neckar since the 2019 vintage. The premium wines of the house include Pinot Noir, Lemberger, Chardonnay and Riesling from the S-LINE. All wines are also suitable for vegans because they are vinified without the use of animal products.
