2021 Wachau DAC Ried Stein am Rain Grüner Veltliner Smaragd® trocken, Lower Austria/Niederösterreich, Austria

Somewhat vegetal and a hint of smoky scent with slightly warm, rather bright yellow fruity aromas, herbs and quite fine vegetal and delicately mushroomy aromas as well as stony mineral nuances. Quite tightly knit, ripe, juicy, slightly sweet fruit, fine acidity and some grip, vegetal to herbal notes, again a hint of smoke in the background, persistent, lots of power, a hint of blackberries in the background, salty mineral notes, warming alcohol, very good finish with ripe juice and some bite.
