2018 Escherndorf Lump Riesling VDP.Erste Lage trocken, Franconia/Franken, Germany

Firm, somewhat yeasty fragrance with light yellow fruity aromas, root vegetables, a little mustard cucumber, floral nuances and minerality. Light, firm fruit also in the mouth, slightly smoky, clearly planty and slightly yellow-spicy aromas, present acidity, crumbly tannin provides grip, minerality in the background, very delicate sweetish enamel, but also a lot of bite, still restless, a trace of phenolic drying, very good, tight, quite juicy finish with smoky nuances
