2016 Untereisenheim Silvaner trocken VDP.Ortswein, Franconia/Franken, Germany

Slightly vegetal and earthy-mineral nose with subdued yellow fruit aromas and a hint of bacon. Clear, tart, juicy, very dry fruit on the palate, vegetal notes, delicate floral and salty notes, some chalky in the background, elegant, fairly lively acidity, good persistence, very good, cool, tart, juicy finish with a bite.
