2020 Nierstein Hölle Pinot Noir trocken, Rheinhessen, Germany

Tart, somewhat smoky, woody aroma of predominantly dark berries and a little cherry with Mediterranean herbal spice and a hint of juniper. Cool and tart, slightly tart, slender fruit, smoky notes, some sandy tannins and a noticeable acid bite, citrus nuances on the palate, good to very good, again a little sour cherry finish, again with a lot of acid bite.
