2013 Nierstein Hölle Pinot Noir trocken Reserve, Rheinhessen, Germany

Light smoky notes on the nose, some wilted flowers, predominantly red berries, hint of tobacco, some oak, black berries, hint of licorice, herbaceous notes. Ripe, creamy, partly preserved fruit on the palate, some oak, smoked bacon and chocolate, fine, sandy, youthful tannins, full-bodied, good persistence, some smoked meat, earthy notes in the background, light dried vegetal notes, very slightly rustic style, very good finish.
