2016 Guntersblum Himmelthal Riesling trocken, Rheinhessen, Germany

Delicate nutty, vegetal and dried floral notes on the nose, ripe yellow fruit, hint of yellow spice. Ripe, juicy, slightly sweetish fruit on the palate, some yellow spice, vegetal, floral and nutty traces, very light yeasty notes, elegant, lively acidity, good persistence and substnace, slightly creamy, ripe tannins provide some grip, hint of sugar candy, good to very good, fairly juicy finish. No comparison with the obviously faulty first sample.
