2019 Martinsthal Langenberg Riesling Grosses Gewächs trocken, Rheingau, Germany

Quite firm, tart, somewhat herbaceous and planty stone and pome fruit scent with citrus aromas, a hint of fennel, some yellow spice, floral nuances and minerality. Ripe, first melting, then tighter, relatively sweet fruit, fine acidity, candy notes, herbal-vegetable and very slightly floral tones, somewhat spicy, mineral hints in the background, yeasty traces, good to very good finish with medicinal traces and again noticeable sweetness.
