2018 Martinsthal Wildsau Pinot Noir VDP.Erste Lage trocken, Rheingau, Germany

Clear, quite polished nose of ripe red and a little black berries with cherry notes and spicy nuances. Ripe, juicy fruit with slightly spicy and herbaceous notes, moderate, a hint of cocoa-spicy wood, some acid bite and ripe, still youthful tannin, good substance and persistence, ethereal notes, very good, juicy and somewhat mineral finish with smoky nuances and hinted citrus zest
