2015 Martinsthal Wildsau Pinot Noir trocken VDP.Erste Lage, Rheingau, Germany

Toasted and light malted notes on the nose, ripe red and black berries, dried vegetal and earthy traces, hint of tobacco. Youthful, predominantly dark fruit on the palate, prominent toasted oak, light acid bite, sandy tannins, fairly persistent, not particularly deep, slightly rough, touch of carbon dioxide, herbaceous traces, good finish.
