2015 Martinsthal Schlenzenberg Riesling Grosses Gewächs trocken, Rheingau, Germany

Slightly developed, firm, yet slightly warm fragrance with yellow fruity, vegetable, nutty, dried herbaceous and slightly yellow-spicy aromas, some tobacco and earthy-mineral tones. Ripe, firm, rather juicy fruit, very delicate sweetness, very fine, ripe acidity and some grip, hinted yellow spice on the palate, a hint of butter, delicate ethereal notes, minerality in the background, has some warmth, but also freshness, very good, firm, rather juicy finish with a certain draught, hinted yellow spice, tobacco and clear minerality

Editor note: Fairly firm nose, light dried vegetal and herbaceous notes, delicate yeasty notes, citrus, stone and pomaceous fruit, hint of green tobacco, prominent tart mineral notes. Ripe, fairly juicy, slightly off-dry fruit on the palate, elegant, lively acidity, vegetal and yeasty aromas, hint of wine gums, good substance and persistence, some sugar candy in the background, tart, spicy mineral notes, fresh light floral notes, has some depth, still largely undeveloped, peppery traces, clear contours, sweetish and juicy on a very good finish.
