Fairly firm, rather cool, relatively tart nose, predominantly dark berries and cherries with beetroot, restrained barrel notes, some smoke and soot, soup herbs and peppery and floral nuances. Ripe, sour cherry-juicy fruit with fine sandy tannins, some smoke, herbs and floral nuances, bitter chocolate in the background, still slightly drying wood tones, good substance and persistence, peppery notes, a hint of earthiness, very good, quite firm, tart finish.
