2015 Bönnigheim Sonnenberg Spätburgunder trocken ****, Württemberg, Germany

Firm nose, light spicy oak, predominantly red berries and some cherries, cloves, vegetal, delicate herbaceous and peppery traces, hint of pomegranate. Firm and fairly tart, cool juicy fruit on the palate, lively acidity, fine youthful tannins, persistent, touch of herbs and spices, some carbon dioxide, some bite, very good firm, juicy, spicy finish.
