2018 Sommerach Katzenkopf Spätburgunder trocken "Tradition", Franconia/Franken, Germany

Slightly warm aroma of ripe, predominantly red berries with a hint of plums as well as some nutty and hints of tobacco barrel notes. Very slightly developed, ripe, melting fruit, herbal nuances and again slightly tobacco wood notes, crumbly tannin, delicate bite, good persistence, a little ethereal spice in the background, salty hints, very good finish with slightly warm juice and fine spice.
