2015 Weil l'Ambre, Baden, Germany

Old gold colour. Slightly shy nose, but already shows some depth, nutty, spicy oak, delicate vegetal notes, hint of tobacco, stome fruit, hint of mint and cinnamon, dried floral aromas. Fairly firm, tart fruit on the palate, delicate floral traces, hint of yellow spice, elegant acidity, mossy traces, earthy notes, fairly prominent, very fine, bracing tannins, good persistence, salty notes, surprisingly fresh and very lively, cool, but also playful character, some depth, hint of iodine, very good, long finish with elegant nutty and light peppery notes, very expressive but also wonderfully light-footed. A real joy, one wants to start drinking immediately.
