light nutty notes on the nose, hint of smoked bacon, black and red berries and some cherries, hint of dried herbs and mushrooms, earthy and mineral notes. Ripe, fairly dark, tart fruit on the palate, prominent oak, some coffee and dark chocolate, light bite, noticeable, slightly sandy and astringent tannins, slightly noticeable warm alcohol, hint of nut butter in the background, slightly broad, peppery traces, more light smoky and salty mineral traces on a good to very good, warm, slightly jammy finish.
