Quite firm, relatively complex aroma of more red than black berries with a little aubergine and beetroot, slightly malty bread crust and quite fine spicy tones. Tart, juicy fruit with nutty tones and again reminiscent of spicy bread crust, fine, youthful tannin, some bite, has freshness, persistent, a little salty in the background, herbal and peppery nuances, lots of marjoram, also salty minerality, bacony tones, very good, quite tight finish with bite.

Best to drink: 2023-2027+. What our ratings mean
