2011 Burg Ravensburg Husarenkappe Riesling VDP.Grosse Lage trocken, Baden, Germany

Developed, delicately waxy, nutty and a touch floral, ethereal and petrol fragrance with calm, warm yellow fruity aromas, hints of sage and a touch of dark fruit. Ripe, melting, relatively sweet fruit, candy notes, wax, some butter and sage again, moderate acidity, mellow tannins, some power and persistence, mineral and again also black berry hints, almost a little resinous-woody notes, good to very good, melting, somewhat warm, again mineral finish. Doesn't have too much bite, but especially the minerality still gives it some backbone.
