2016 Dienheim Tafelstein Riesling Grosses Gewächs trocken, Rheinhessen, Germany

Restrained nose, vegetal and light earthy notes, light yellow fruit, light floral aromas, hint of bearlap. Fairly juicy fruit on the palate, earthy and vegetal notes, lively acidity, slightly astringent tannins, slightly noticeable warm alcohol, slightly muted, not particularly deep, some sweet sugar candy, hint of raisins, some red berries and slightly bitter and astringent notes on a good to very good finish.
