2019 Eibelstadt Kapellenberg Domina Spätlese trocken, Franconia/Franken, Germany

Quite firm aroma of predominantly dark berries and a little sour cherries with nutty, slightly barrel-woody and dried-vegetable tones. Tart fruit with quite present, fine dusty tannins, nutty aromas, some wood and hints of smoke, slightly chocolaty tones on the palate, some persistence, noticeable alcohol, earthy nuances, delicate acidity, a hint of salt, good, again strong alcohol, a hint of drying finish.
