Cool, quite firm, a hint of dried-vegetable citrus-stone fruit scent with a hint of dark berries, some herbs, light tobacco and floral nuances. Clear, straightforward, juicy fruit, herbal-vegetable and delicately nutty hints, a hint of smoke on the palate, fine acidity, hints of mellow tannin, some persistence, black berry and peppery hints, very good finish with juice reminiscent of preserved apricots, orange tones and fine spice.

Best to drink: 2024-2028+. What our ratings mean
