2020 Pinot Noir trocken Réserve, Rheinhessen, Germany

Firm and quite deep, youthful, a touch bacony aroma of cherries and mixed berries with distinct porcini mushrooms, a touch of pepper, a tiny hint of coffee and floral nuances. Ripe, polished, very juicy fruit, delicate acidity and rather fine, ripe tannin, a touch of bitter chocolate and smoke on the palate, herbal nuances, hints of pepper, good persistence and substance, some depth, quite compact structure, still completely undeveloped, some melting, some salt in the background, again also porcini mushrooms, very good, firm, juicy, finely spicy and slightly smoky finish.
