2020 Appenheim Riesling VDP.Aus Ersten Lagen trocken, Rheinhessen, Germany

Firm, somewhat herbal and slightly tobacco aroma of ripe yellow fruits with a hint of dark berries and dried floral traces. Ripe, firm, juicy fruit, very fine acidity and some grip of friable tannin, persistent on the palate, distinct minerality, a hint of dark berries in the background, has polish, not completely dry style, good depth, very good, firm, juicy, mineral and delicately smoky finish.
