2015 Appenheim Hundertgulden Riesling trocken, Rheinhessen, Germany

Tart, vegetal to herbaceous, rather cool nose with fairly delicate, light citrus and peach aromas, nutty and light vegetal notes. Quite juicy, again rather bright fruit, smoky, nutty and charcoal notes, lively acidity, grip of crumbly tannin, black berry nuances and minerality in the background, cool and warm notes, very slightly drying on a somewhat smoky finish.

Editor note: ^{Translate to English} Fester, noch etwas schweflig-schärfender, getrocknet-pflanzlicher bis tabakiger und mineralischer Zitrusduft mit an der Luft zunehmenden Steinobstnoten und erdig-mineralischen Tönen. Saftige, leicht süßliche Frucht, stramme Säure und deutlich kräuterig-vegetabile Aromen, etwas hefig und schweflig, ein Hauch dunkler Beeren, florale Nuancen, noch ein wenig rau am Gaumen, ein Hauch Speck, mit Luft auch dunkle Beeren, steinig wirkende Mineralik, sehr guter, saftiger, wenn auch noch leicht rauer Abgang mit Biss und Griff. Muss reifen.
