Developed, slightly caramel nose of ripe, partly candied yellow fruits with nutty and hints of yellow-spicy and tobacco notes. Straight, developed, slightly melting fruit, very fine acidity, again candy notes and nutty hints on the palate, a touch of buttery caramel, some warmth, good persistence, a little soft contours, hints of minerality, good to very good finish. Not quite up to scratch anymore, but still good to drink.

Best to drink: Austrinken. What our ratings mean

Editor note: Translate to English Schwefliger, kühler, fester und sehr geschliffener Zitrus-Steinobstduft mit feinen, herben vegetabilen Aromen, etwas Kräutern und deutlicher Mineralik. Fest gewirkt und saftig im Mund, geschliffene Frucht mit leicht hefiger und zart nussiger Würze, wieder kräuterige und vegetabile Aromen, feine, lebhafte Säure, nachhaltig am Gaumen, etwas Gerbstoff-Griff, gewisse Tiefe, leicht holzig wirkende Töne im Hintergrund, karamellige Spuren, Muschelschalen, recht saftiger, griffiger und feinwürziger Abgang mit Biss und kühler Mineralik.
