2021 Malterdingen Chardonnay VDP.Ortswein trocken Alte Reben, Baden, Germany

Cool, firm, delicately smoky citrus nose with floral nuances, mussel shells, green beans and some fresh celery. Cool, finely juicy, very polished, citrus-accentuated fruit, lively, fine acidity and some grip, smoky nuances, a little nuts and green bacon, redcurrants in the background, also a little white asparagus, delicate vinaigrette tones, a hint of pepper, clear, chalky-salty minerality, very good, firm, smoky finish.
