Nutty and vegetal, a hint of smoky citrus flavour with chives, a little crab meat, lemon zest and ginger. Slender, tart, citrus-accentuated fruit, nutty and clearly vegetal flavours with chives and parsley, very present acidity, some tannic grip, chalky in the background, slightly muted, a hint of vinaigrette, smoky woody notes, also salt, very good finish. No clear signs of ageing, but with its enormous acidity and phenolics not completely in balance.

Editor note: Translate to English Fester, herber, nussiger und vegetabiler, auch mineralischer Kernobstduft mit Zitrusnuancen, erdigen Noten und einer Spur Tabak. Ganz trockene Frucht im Mund, pflanzliche, nussige und deutlich erdige Töne, ein wenig gedeckt und rau, präsente Säure, gewisse Nachhaltigkeit am Gaumen, ausgesprochen herber Stil, salzige mineralische Töne, sehr guter, leicht würziger, noch ganz leicht rauer Abgang mit Griff und Säurebiss. Hat sich seit der letzten Verkostung deutlich gefangen; offenbar steckte er Anfang August noch mitten in der Füllkrankheit.

Geschliffene, relativ feste, ein wenig grüne Frucht im Mund, wieder Nüsse, etwas Melisse und Feuerstein, zart tabakige und salzige Beitöne, präsente Säure, etwas Nachhaltig, nur nicht sehr tief, recht guter, herber Abgang mit Salznoten.
