Earthy and vegetal notes on the nose, nutty oak, red and a few black berries, hint of tobacco, bacon and leather. Full-bodied ripe, juiy, partly dried fruit on the palate, smoky oak, sandy tannins, some dried herbs, earthy and salty mineral notes, persistent, some depth, slightly rustic style, very good firm finish. Has improved significantly.

Editor note: Translate to English Säuerliche, herbe und ein wenig krautig-schärfende Nase nach eher dunklen Beeren und einer Spur Kirschen mit erdigen Noten. Herbe und eher kühle Frucht auch im Mund, leicht rauchiges Holz, erdig-vegetabile Aromen, ein wenig Speck am Gaumen, wieder auch krautige Nuancen, gewisse Kraft und Nachhaltigkeit, Bitterschokolade und viel Nuss, etwas trocknendes Tannin, guter bis sehr guter, relativ alkoholstarker Abgang mit gewissem Säurebiss.
