2022 Burkheim Schloßgarten Villinger Grauburgunder Grosses Gewächs trocken, Baden, Germany

Clear, relatively polished pome fruit scent with fine nutty aromas, herbal to planty nuances and moderate, almost a hint of tobacco barrel tones. Firmly woven, tart, ripe, somewhat warm fruit, nutty and very slightly buttery tones, quite fine acidity and grip of crumbly tannin, salt on the palate, restrained smoky and woody tones, persistent, seems elegant and quite fresh despite its power, still undeveloped, hints of tobacco, very good, firm finish.
