2020 Burkheim Feuerberg Kesselberg Spätburgunder Grosses Gewächs trocken, Baden, Germany

Firm and quite deep, somewhat smoky aroma of more black than red berries with peppery aromas, a little cherry, meat juice, slightly tobacco wood spices and leathery tones, hints of tar as well as dark ethereal spice. Clear, tart, very fresh, tart, cool-looking fruit with dark spice, bite and taut, yet fine tannins, still a little drying on the palate, then increasingly harmonious, smoky and delicately toasty wood notes, slightly waxy-ethereal spice, lots of salt, still young, very good, taut, slightly smoky finish with cool juice, also meat juice, ethereal spice, bite and grip.
