2017 Harxheim Lieth Weißburgunder, Rheinhessen, Germany

Slightly open, fairly cool nose, nutty and light dried vegetal notes, hint of mushrooms, mature pomaceous fruit, hint of marzipan, prominent yeasty notes. Polished, fairly juicy but also fairly tart citrussy fruit on the palate, apple and red berries, light spicy oak, hint of sage, elegant, lively acidity, integrated tannins, but still slightly astringent, light earthy and peppery notes, hint of tobacco, light salty notes on a good to very good finish.
