2017 Mettenheim Michelsberg Chardonnay Spätlese trocken Heilbrunnen, Rheinhessen, Germany

Rather dark yellow colour. Nutty and vegetal notes, ripe yellow fruit, moderate oak, earthy and mineral traces. Ripe, juicy, dry fruit on the palate, elegant vegetal and delicate njutty oak aromas, very elegant acidity, persistent, creamy, has substance, restrained integrated tannins in the background, hint of bacon, some yellow spice, good persistence, some depth, salty traces and a hint of tobacco on a very good nutty, juicy finish.
