2017 Bechtheim Geyersberg Riesling Spätlese trocken, Rheinhessen, Germany

Tart spicy nose, light earthy and dried vegetal notes, hint of tobacco and bacon, very restrained yellow fruit. Straightforward, fairly tart fruit on the palate, elegant acidity, delicate tannic grip, quite juicy, dried vegetal and mineral notes, very slightly sandy, fairly persistent, slightly creamy, quite a tranquil style, good to very good finish.
