2022 Landwein "Blanc de Noir", Main, Germany

Very slightly muted, somewhat nutty, vegetal and hints of bacon on the nose, yellow fruit with a hint of yeast and wild mushrooms. Clear, not quite dry citrus fruit with nutty flavours, fine acidity, noticeable tannin grip, yeast, nutmeg and citrus zest in the background, a hint of sage and dried mushrooms, chalky and salty tones, moderate wood spice, a hint of nut butter, very good, only slightly drying finish.
