2006 Südtirol / Alto Adige DOC Carano, Alto Adige, Italy

Intense nose, dark berries and some plums, herbaceous and earthy notes, light animal notes. Cool on the palate with dark berry fruit, some more earthy notes, slightly bitter but well integrated, very fine-grained tannin, fairly full-bodied and has some substance, light herbaceous traces in the background, very polished style, still quite young, good finish.
