2020 Riesling VDP.Gutswein trocken "RESSpekt", Rheingau, Germany

Very firm, cool, rather bright bouquet with citrus and pome fruit notes, vineyard peach, some tart herbs and floral hints, yeasty nuances, hints of smoke, mushrooms and distinct minerality. Rather tightly knit, again bright, youthful, restrained fruit, yeasty aromas, herbal to planty spiciness, noticeable parsley, salt and taut, fine acidity, lots of grip from ripe tannin, smoky nuances, a hint of mushrooms, persistent, hints of laurel, fennel and aniseed in the background, mussel shells, has tension and depth, still barely developed, very good, taut, grippy, quite complex, again very tart finish with grip and pull.
