Editor note: Firm, deep, fairly complex nose, slightly reticent, some yellow spice, intense mineral notes, very elegant yellow fruit, algae, whiff of dried flowers, hint of bacon. Very firm again on the palate, compact, spicy, mineral notes,, ripe, slightly warm and slightly off-dry fruit, very elegant ripe acidity, prominent integrated tannins, persistent, concentrated and gripping, excellent substance and depth, still largely undeveloped, yeasty traces, hint of tobacco, firly tranquil style. some fennel on a very good long finish. Needs time to mature.
Best to drink: 2020-2032+
