2015 Hattenheim Engelmannsberg Riesling trocken Erste Lage, Rheingau, Germany

Firm nose, dried vegetal and herbaceous notes, prominent yeasty, earthy and mineral notes, restrained yellow fruit, delicate hint of tobacco. Firm, juicy fruit on the palate, both art and sweetish, prominent acidity, vegetal and herbaceous aromas, very yeasty, persistent and grippy, firm bite, tart earthy and mineral notes, still largely undeveloped, floral traces in the background, hint of dark berries, persistent, still slightly rough on a very good firm finish. Needs time to mature.
