2019 Hammelburg Trautlestal Pinot Noir trocken Réserve "Clees", Franconia/Franken, Germany

Firm aroma of ripe red and black berries with slightly nutty and tobacco wood notes as well as earthy nuances. Ripe, quite juicy fruit, nutty and smoky wood aromas, some acid bite and relatively fine, youthful tannin, vanilla on the palate, sweet melting, good persistence, lots of power, earthy nuances, a hint of juniper and pepper, also tarry hints in the background, warming alcohol, good to very good, slightly compote and again smoky finish with salt, tobacco and some liquorice.
