2022 Rüdesheim Bischofsberg Riesling VDP.Erste Lage trocken, Rheingau, Germany

Cool, delicately floral and somewhat vegetal to herbaceous nose with pomaceous and stone fruit notes and a hint of yeast and celery. Clear, very bright, juicy fruit with delicate sweetness and a hint of apple, lively acidity, has some grip and persistence, red berries and citrus zest in the background, salty and chalky minerality, very good, still slightly yeasty finish with cool vegetal flavours and nuances reminiscent of peach skin.
