Slightly spicy, somewhat nutty, mushroomy and a hint of bacon on the nose, predominantly red berries and a little cherry with a hint of dried herbs and tobacco. Straightforward, tart, juicy fruit with nutty and slightly roasted oak notes, a certain acid bite, fine sandy, still slightly drying tannins, a certain persistence, hints of coffee grounds and herbal spice, peppery and salty tones, very good finish with a hint of ash.
