The winery is located in the community of Geisenheim in the German Rheingau wine region. Since 1984, the traditional business has been run by Dipl. Ing. Alexander and his wife Dipl. Önol. Karin Seip-Freimuth. A bunch economy is attached. The vineyards comprise eight hectares of vineyards in the locations Kilzberg, Kläuserweg, Mäuerchen and Mönchspfad (Geisenheim), as well as Bischofsberg, Kirchenpfad and Magdalenenkreuz (Rüdesheim). They are mainly planted with the varieties Riesling with 65% andPinot Noir with 25%, the rest withPinot Blanc, PinotGris and Sauvignon Blanc. All wines are estate bottlings, as only own wines are cultivated and developed. The wines are temperature-controlled cool fermented and mostly dry developed. Brandy and bottle-fermented sparkling wine are also produced. The winery has been a member of the VDP (Verband deutscher Prädikatsweingüter) since 1999.
