Somewhat dried-vegetable to herbal nose with red and also slightly black berry aromas and a hint of tree bark. Clear, quite spicy, also juicy, rather tart fruit, certain acid bite and fine sandy, ripe tannin, good persistence, ethereal-spicy notes, again some bark, has life, good to very good, again juicy and spicy finish with mineral hints. Sophisticated boozy wine that one could hardly wish for better - especially as a companion to the barbecue evenings that are hopefully coming up soon
