2021 Chardonnay Reserve, Württemberg, Germany

Somewhat herbal to ethereal, nutty and slightly smoky citrus scent with a hint of stone fruit, root vegetables, butter and mushrooms. Clear, quite juicy, ripe, firm fruit with delicately sweet melting, lively, yet fine acidity, has grip, good persistence, nutty and slightly toasty wood notes in the background, hints of lemon verbena, fennel seeds and dark berries, salty and chalky tones, delicate floral nuances in the very good finish.
